As a device that can separate dust from the flue gas, precipitators are mainly divided into wet electrostatic dust precipitators and dry electrostatic dust precipitators in the current market.
Wet electrostatic precipitator is a secondary dust removal equipment installed after wet desulfurization.
Nowadays, the international mainstream precipitators can be divided into three types according to the material of the plate: metal plateprecipitator, flexible plate precipitator and conductive glass steel precipitator.
Wet desulfurization is the mainstream process for flue gas desulfurization in coal-fired power plants in China, and the electrostatic dust precipitators are the secondary dust removal device that is added after wet desulfurization.
In terms of dust collection principle, there is no difference between wet electrostatic dust precipitator and dry electrostatic dust precipitator. They both deliver high voltage to the electric field space. Through the ionization of the space gas, the dust particles and mist particles in the flue gas are charged under the action of the electric field force, and move to the dust collecting pole, then gather on the dust collecting pole.
The structure of the wet electrostatic dust precipitators is basically the same as that of the dry electrostatic dust precipitator, and it is a typical horizontal single-layer structure metal pole plate precipitator.
The anode plate adopts parallel hanging metal plates, while the cathode can be top-mounted or side-mounted according to the actual situation of the project.
Others also include the lower support steel frame, ash hopper, shell, inlet and outlet speakers, airflow evenly installed and high-pressure system, etc.
Therefore, the wet electrostatic dust precipitator adds a spray system and a water supply and drainage system for the spray cleaning system.
Since the inside of the electrostatic dust precipitator is saturated with wet flue gas during operation, in order to prevent the saturated wet flue gas from being cold and condensed on the inner wall of the supporting insulator, causing the supporting insulator to crack and even explode, the wet electrostatic dust precipitator also adds the hot air and sweeping system of the insulator which plays a role of heating and airtightness.
The biggest difference between wet electrostatic dust precipitator and dry electrostatic dust precipitator lies in the difference in flue gas working medium. Dry electrostatic dust precipitator flue gas is dry flue gas, the flue gas temperature is relatively high, and the flue gas does not contain droplets.
The wet electrostatic dust precipitator is saturated with wet flue gas, the flue gas temperature is low, and the flue gas contains a large number of droplets. In the cleaning method, spray cleaning replaces the traditional vibration cleaning.
