Electrostatic dust precipitator is one of the most well-known precipitator equipment, and it is widely used in many factories.
It should be noted that after the electrostatic dust precipitator has been used for a period of time, a large amount of ash piles will accumulate on the maintenance platform of the dust removal electric field channel, which will overlap with the cathode and anode rows to cause short circuits and other problems. In addition, the operation cycle of sulfuric acid will be random, sometimes long and sometimes short in the trial production of sulfuric acid.
It usually lasts from a few days to more than ten days. In addition to mechanical failures, quartz tube breakage and other general failures are mainly manifested as short circuits of ash accumulation in the electric field.
The ash hopper and ash falling pipe blockage in the lower part of the electrostatic dust precipitators is one of the problems of the normal operation of the electrostatic dust precipitators. If not handled in time, it will also cause a short circuit between the anode plate and the cathode line. When the ash accumulation is serious, it will also cause rapping. The device is damaged, and the anode plate and cathode wire are deformed. During operation, once the ash level in the ash hopper is found to exceed 2.5m, the electric field power supply should be stopped immediately, and the power supply can be restored when the ash accumulation is removed and the ash level drops to about 1 meter.
If we reinforce the channel steel in the middle of the ash hopper to be closer to the lower end of the cathode and anode rows, when the upper part of the channel steel accumulates more ash, it can be connected to the lower end of the electrode row and cause a short circuit, so the electrostatic precipitator can not be operated casually.
